I got the opportunity to give the welcoming speech YMCA Black Achievers celebration gala. I served on the finalists panel for the Youth Achiever of the year. In this program, I received many opportunities and a scholarship.

I was selected with the lovely opportunity to paint a live mural for the Muhammad Ali Musuems Juneteenth celebration. In just three hours a sketch became a masterpiece. The work was later put on display for a seasonal period at the Muhammad Ali Museum.

This summer I had the opportunity work with the YES Cabinet to create a mural for their National Youth Prevention Week Gala. In just seven days I cultivated a mural representing the peace found in the freedom of bondage. During the gala I had the opportunity to speak more about the message of the mural the process creating it, and my passion for painting.

Throughout the duration of this initiative, my  colleagues and I, on the Black Student Union (BSU), of which I hold the position of President, collaborated closely with the Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) Board of Diversity. We joined forces with other BSU entities within the district to organize a forum at Roots 101 museum. The primary objective of this forum was to address the proposed agenda to split up JCPS. This student-led engagement gave students the opportunity to take the lead on this issue, enabling them to voice their concerns and share their viewpoints directly with the adult stakeholders and policymakers in attendance.

During my time at the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs at Northern Kentucky University, I collaborated with a team to identify and address a pressing societal issue. Through dedicated research, we observed an escalating trend in the diagnosis of speech impediments among children. Among this research, we recognized that a significant proportion of these children were unable to access remedial services due to prohibitive costs of speech therapy, insufficient resources, transportation challenges, among other obstacles.

In response to this, we devised a solution - 'KONVO,' an innovative online platform designed to enhance speech therapy and amplify the voices of our younger generation. KONVO employs a dynamic blend of games, activities, and speech exercises to create an immersive learning environment that facilitates speech improvement.

Upon creating the program, my team and I had the privilege to present our solution to a panel of discerning judges. Their constructive feedback was invaluable and served as a catalyst for my determination to continue the development of KONVO post-GSE.

While working in the Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow organization, my team and I worked to develop ways to improve the well known company known as Netflix. After weeks of research and development, we created a presentation that showcased  the solutions we developed to help benefit the company and boost market growth. We traveled to Atlanta to present our proposal at the pitch conference held for nationals. Not only did our team score high, but we are also able to network with students around the country.
